Meet the owner
Andrew G Douglas (born 1971) began his career in landscaping in 1986 and continued in the industry while completing a six-year period of higher education, including A Levels and a four-year business degree. Following graduation, he spent three years working in a commercial environment before using a loyalty bonus and redundancy package to establish Complete Landscaping Services in 1997.

In 1998, Andrew studied Horticulture and Hard Landscaping (NVQ II) at South Birmingham College. His interest in arboriculture led him to pursue chainsaw, tree surgery, and arboriculture courses at Pershore College, Warwickshire, in 2007. He completed the Royal Forestry Society Level II (Practitioner) and later upgraded to the Diploma and Level III (Technician’s Certificate). In recognition of his achievements, Andrew was awarded the Royal Forestry Society/Arboricultural Association Tree Life Student of the Year 2013 Award, the final recipient of the award before the Level III course was discontinued.
Andrew has completed various LANTRA and Tree Life courses in tree surveying and mortgage reports. He holds NPTC certificates of competence in first aid, tree planting, pesticide use, chainsaw operation, tree climbing/aerial rescue, and the use of forestry machinery. In 2024, Andrew incorporated his business, creating AG Douglas Arboriculture Ltd.
